Umpiring & Scoring – Can You Help?

At Thorverton CC we are extremely lucky to have dedicated volunteers who assist in umpiring and scoring of our fixtures.

Due to the addition of a 3rd XI for 2024, we are looking to increase the number of match officials within the club to assist with the increase in fixtures, as we will now require 2 umpires and 3 scorers every Saturday during the Devon Cricket League season.

The club is able to fund the full cost of umpiring and scoring courses with the Devon Association of Cricket Officials (DACO).

The following courses are available

Umpiring Course - Saturday 16th March 9am-3pm – Devon Cricket Centre (Exeter)

Umpiring Course (female only) - Saturday 23rd March 9am-3pm – Devon Cricket Centre (Exeter)

Scoring Workshop – Wednesday 10th April 6pm-9pm – Exeter Cricket Club
